Our educational and financial programs provide the proper assistance to help homeowners get through their immediate challenge so they can maintain long-term financial stability and responsible homeownership.

Communication and Education – Our communication and education is administered; before the home is purchased, during the purchase process and continues for 24 months after the home purchase. The Program is designed to educate the homeowner(s), assist to control debt associated with the initial two years of homeownership, establish a solid savings plan with cash reserves and create positive long-term financial habits and wellness.

Key Points:
  • Welcome/Introductory Call to homebuyer within 72 hours of loan closing
  • 6 months of phone calls to the homeowner to make sure they understand the HELP Program services and that they are on top of their personal finances
  • 24 months of financial tips and resources and access to cumulative library of information
  • On-going availability of counseling staff to assist homeowners

Rainy Day Program – Designed to counsel, support and assist homeowners who have challenges in making their mortgage payments. This program offers both Early Delinquency Counseling as well as a re-budgeting process to address financial challenges and capture all actual household expenses. If a homeowner experiences an unexpected financial emergency, Rainy Day, through Mortgage Payment Protection may provide financial assistance for the express purpose of making a mortgage payment. *Examples of financial assistance items that will be covered include; unexpected medical expenses, protection for various short-term disabilities, unusually high car repair bills, catastrophic events, or other major financial events.
